Description

The Elcon range of vertical panel saws are an industry standard in design, build quality, accuracy and safety. The Elcon 155DS-L provides panel sizing for sheets up to 3300 x 1550mm and up to 54mm thick. The automactic panel support moves out of the way by means of compressed air when cutting horizontally to avoid damaging the support strips. The patented LIMPIO rear dust collection tray runs behind the work piece at all times extracting wasts from behind the panel as well as from the front. The result is an almost dust free cutting atmosphere - esstential when cutting plaster board, MDF or when being used in an educational establishment. The totally enclosed sawblade ensures safe cutting at all times. The cutting head itself is counter balanced making it light and easy to use, while the high speed saw unit greatly reducing the chance for breakout on material. Digital readouts to the horizontal and vertical axis make accurate panel sizing quick and easy.
