This is a very substantially built drill press with several notable features, having variable speed to the spindle giving a stepless range of 330-2500 rpm, a large, precision ground work table with extension wings, ability to be configured for left or right handed operation, a telescopic rear fence with work stop and dust extraction outlet and an LED work light. Powered by a 1.3 kw induction motor in 1ph or 1.8kw 3ph version there is ample power for the job in hand. A 16mm keyless chuck is mounted into the MT2 spindle taper with a digital read-out of the spindle speed. A cross laser and LED work light makes precision work positioning easy. Supplied with a flip-down chuck guard for safety, this is a great machine for those looking for a drill press a good deal better than theaverage offering.
