The lathe is very quiet, the inverter means that the speed can be varied by turning the dial on the control box.

Speeds vary from about 30rpm up to over 3000rpm (more if you wish, but may not be very safe!).

Once you have used this system, you never want to go back to swapping the belt on the pulleys (the original pulleys are still fitted so this is a fallback option, and gives you a huge range of speeds with the inverter control).

The instruction manual for the inverter is included but it is set up so you don't need to fiddle with any settings.

The lathe includes all you see in the photos,

long and short rests, the outboard turning bed and swan neck rest assembly, the sanding table, a 14" faceplate / sanding disc, a 8" faceplate (RH thread), a cover for the outboard spindle, a 4 prong drive centre, a dead tailstock centre.
