Specialist problems require special solutions, the Lamello Plano 45 is one such example of a superbly engineered machine for the woodworker. The Lamello Plano 45 is used to plane projections flush with the surrounding surface. Projections such as Lamello Mini spot patches, circular knot repairs or even dowels and through tenons. Three solid carbide knives are mounted in a precision aluminium cutter head, depth adjustment can be made in increments as fine as 0.035mm. The base plate is yet another example of Lamello's precise engineering, a perspex front piece marks the middle of the 45mm maximum cutting width to help as a guide over the target area. With a powerful 1,000W motor producing 25,500 cuts per minute, perfect results are assured. Dust extraction is via a 30mm diameter outlet at the rear of the machine. The Plano is supplied in a Lamello wooden carry case complete with service tools and instructions.
